We are the only used bookstore that has been in Denver since 1977. We love used paper backs! We have many different genres, including a large selection of children’s and science fiction books. Come in and browse; our knowledgeable staff can introduce you new genres or show you where to find the ones you love.
Reserves and Special Orders
If there's a specific book you are looking for, just ask! We have our inventory on computer. We are happy to reserve a used copy if we don't have it in stock. We will call you when your copy comes in.
Children's books and cookbooks are buy one, get one free.

Our book purchasing policies
We are accepting books any time we are open! Looking for paperbacks of many genres in good, used condition. The only hardbacks we are accepting right now are children's and young adult books.
We offer store credit in exchange for any books we take, which can be used towards your next purchase.
Effective July 1, we will be modifying our credit policies.
- Up to 25% credit can be applied to your purchase.
- Books purchased at The Book Rack will be accepted back for credit dependent upon inventory restrictions.
- Reserves will be held behind the counter for two weeks.
